About Luvleigh

LUVLEIGH: Award-winning artist with a passion for music and mental health advocacy.

In just four years of actively releasing music and working in the industry, LUVLEIGH has emerged as one of South Africa’s most exciting young voices. Blending indie-pop, alternative pop, singer-songwriter storytelling, and cross-genre elements of country pop, trap pop, Latin pop, and rock pop, she creates music that feels both versatile and deeply personal.

Luvleigh first made her mark at just 15 years old with her debut single, a bold beginning that quickly established her potential. Since then, she has consistently built momentum, releasing nine original songs to date, including five singles in 2025 alone, proving both her growth and her
dedication to her craft.

This hard work and creativity were recognized when she became an award-winning artist at the Afri-Indie Awards, a milestone that affirmed her artistic vision and impact.

A multi-instrumentalist with Trinity College London exam achievements in Piano, Saxophone, and Singing, and a guitarist as well, Luvleigh pairs technical skill with raw emotion.

While her sound is ever-evolving, her purpose remains constant: to use music as a way to explore and share honest experiences. Drawing inspiration from her own life, Luvleigh writes songs that touch on love,
heartbreak, self-discovery, and mental health, creating a safe and comforting space for listeners.

Now preparing to finish her matric year, Luvleigh is balancing academics with a rapidly growing career, continuing to prove that her journey is only just beginning.
